This sweatshirt was perfectly content being a regular sweatshirt until someone gave it a little romance and a better sense of timing.

The original long sleeves have been removed and replaced with hand-crocheted short sleeves made from cotton yarn, because sometimes a sweatshirt needs to stop pretending it is only for chilly weather. The result is soft, playful, and just odd enough to be interesting, which is usually where the good outfits begin.

The body, which has been cropped into a more modern silhouette, is a warm neutral beige shade, easy to wear and quietly charming, while the crocheted sleeves bring in two shades of pink with a sweet handmade texture.
